While everybody is too busy fighting over Elementary, I just thought I’d let you know that I love whenever there are lady Watsons. So that’s Dr. Mildred Watson from They Might Be Giants (1971), Watson from Мой нежно любимый детектив (1986) and Jane Watson from The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1987).
Excerpts from “Kissing Sherlock Holmes” by T. D McKinney & Terry Wylis
Sherlock : “ I must prove to her my manly prowess in the arts of
physical love at the very next opportunity or she’ll have none of
me.”
[…]
“Holmes!” My lungs emptied in a rush and I could only cling
to his strong frame (…) “Dear sweet heaven above…”
“No. It’s you who’re sweet.”
[…]
“You excite far more than cocaine.”
I’m not sure I’m supposed to find these funny.

I know many Sherlock Holmes fans are on an emotional roller-coaster of doom because of Reichenbach, so I decided to post another kind of fall from The Woman In Green (1945), with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes.
Spoilers for this movie, obviously.
